Gianpietro Gai was born in 1972 in Valdobbiadene, Italy. He studied Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture of Venezia. He is Product Designer since 2001. Now he runs his own design studio "Genikdisegno" in Bolzano, where he also works since 2008 at the "Free University of Bolzano" at the Faculty of Design and Arts, as lecturer and researcher in the field of Materials and Technologies for design.
As a product designer he worked and works mainly for: disguincio, Foscarini, iOAgency, MayaBeauty, Salviati, Zeroombra.
As a graphic/web designer and illustrator he worked for E-Tree, Bolzano Province, GiottoFratelli, Tappobar, and many others.
