architect and designer, member of the American Institute of Architects – AIA, was born in Turin in 1967 where he graduated in architecture at the Politecnico in 1991.
Between 1992 and 2002 he took graduate courses at the Universities of Milan and Turin, at the University of Lund, and at Bocconi University in Milan.
In 2001 he obtained a research doctorate at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
In 2000 he became a partner of ICIS, a society of engineering and architecture in Turin.
He designed, with Luciano Luciani: the renovation of Borsalino’s Palace in Alessandria (1993-2002), the renovation of the University students secretary’s office in Turin (1994-1996); the cover structure for the Storehouse of Turin Regio Theatre (1995-1996); the Turin University’s Computer Science Department (1996-2005); the new Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Turin (1996-2000); the university center for the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the San Luigi Gonzaga’s hospital in Orbassano / Turin (1998-2006) and the headquarter of the Cavalieri Ottolenghi Foundation (1998-2007). In 2001 and in 2004 he designed the renovation of two Einaudi's university students' hall of residence in Turin (Crocetta and San Paolo). In 2003 he designed the new Institute Zooprofilattico (veterinary public health institute) in Lodi.
With Aimaro Isola he coordinated: the renovation of the Bela Rosin’s Mausoleum in Turin (2000-2005); the plan for the renovation of the Cogne’s Palace in Aosta (2002-2007); the plan for the new headquarter of the Courthouse in Bergamo (2002-2007); the design for the renovation and widening of the Accademia Carrara Art Gallery in Bergamo (2002-2007). Art director of the renovation of the Torino Porta Nuova railway station, since 2005 he’s been designing the Campus of the computer science of the University of Milan.

Since 2003 he’s been visiting professor at the Turin Polytechnic.
He lives and works in Turin.
