Pinch is the collaboration between husband and wife team Russell Pinch and Oona Bannon.

We are lucky enough to have been invited to design for a number of leading retailers and manufacturers, as well as designing and distributing our own range of furniture. We also work on a number of studio projects from interior design, to branding, graphics and retail strategy.

As a small company we pride ourselves on being light on our feet with an ability to generate ideas whilst making sure they come to life in the best possible way. We enjoy the process of development and realisation as much as that first spark of a creative idea.

Our aim is to design fantastic quality products; simple, elegant and approachable, for real people’s lives. With a timeless quality, our pieces are designed and built to last, and we hope work comfortably in a variety of situations, from concrete to country. Our style does not seek to dominate or dictate but we hope instead thoroughly and resonantly engages.

Having spent 5 years designing products for demanding customers buyers and specifiers, and another combined 12 years in branding and marketing, we understand client’s and customer’s needs. We take a pride in delivering compelling, dynamic and commercial ideas, from furniture, to cutlery to retail environments and exhibition spaces.

Founded in early 2004, armed with bags of enthusiasm and a whole load of ideas, we set ourselves the goal of launching our first collection at September’s 100% Design. 10 pieces and a few more grey hairs later, our work was rewarded when we won the Blueprint 100% Design Best Newcomer 2004 Award.

Since then our client list has continued to grow, and we have launched the ARMOIRE collection, the first of what we hope is a number of collections where we design, manufacture, and distribute directly.
